A wife on Dr. Phil show admits lying about domestic violence to jail her husband for 10 months.

Interesting how Dr. Phil exposes the abuse of this man's civil rights but pillories him by doing so. His audience is largely female so he doesn't want to step too far out of the box to curry disfavour from his base. Nothing hypocritical here folks.

This is the tip of a a very large iceberg of corrupt practices in the DV Industry and in the legal profession who counsel women to lie. They know the law won't punish the perps if found out.MJM

Man Convicted Of Convincing Kids To Beat Mom

For those deniers of Parental Alienation here is a case that is one of the more severe. Children have gone as far as killing their parents so it does get worse. A young boy shot his father, a surgeon in Texas, several years back. The dad in this case appears to have incited so much hatred of the mom they all attempted to kill her.  Both children are the victims as is the mom and they need counselling not jail.  The dad should rot in prison for life. He is a scum bag of the highest order and there is no place for him in society. He broke the most sacred trust he will ever get in life and that is the care, comfort, nurturing and emotional growth of his children.  On an emotional level I  think they should give him to those of us who have been target parents as part of his punishment and this writer will ensure he never gets to procreate again.  On a logical level it would not be appropriate but such is the thought process when you see innocent children turned against you. This treatment of children occurs by either parent and the one doing it has serious mental health deficiencies.MJM

Prosecutors Say Attack Prompted By Child-Custody Dispute

POSTED: 6:55 am CST December 9, 2009
UPDATED: 7:04 am CST December 9, 2009

A Douglas County jury convicted a Lawrence man of encouraging his children to try and kill their mother by assaulting her with a baseball bat.

Peggy Breit/KMBC
The jury deliberated for three hours Tuesday before finding 61-year-old Arthur Davis III guilty of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and contributing to a child's misconduct.

Prosecutors said Davis encouraged his 12-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son to kill his ex-wife on June 16. After the children began beating her, Davis went to her house and helped with the attack.

The woman was able to escape and ran down the road to seek help.Prosecutors said the attack was prompted by a child custody dispute. The girl was granted immunity and testified against her father. The Davis' son will be tried as a juvenile.

Saanich counselling clinic operator accused of false degree claims, charged with fraud

Here we have yet another perpetrator of fraud who was tied in with the DV Industry and went so far as to make a fraudulent report to obtain a restraining order against a father. There is a great deal of corruption in this Industry and this is another example. I would hazard there are many more cases he has been involved in based on his MO and affiliations.  The DV industry motto is "the end justifies the means". That he is also a Liberal supporter is interesting. The Liberal Pink Book lll is  a bible of misandry! MJM

A well-known Victoria man who operated a counselling clinic in Saanich and taught courses at the University of Victoria has been charged with fraud, accused of falsely claiming to hold two doctoral degrees.

Jason Matthew Walker, 31, was arrested Dec. 31 after Saanich police searched the offices of Health Point Consulting at 4430 Chatterton Way in Saanich. He has since been released and will appear in court Jan. 21.

Walker is well known in the region, having volunteered with Saanich police as a reserve constable, served as a civilian member of the Greater Victoria Victim Services board, worked for the Vancouver Island Health Authority and the B.C. Coroners Service, served as the Liberal constituency association president for the federal Esquimalt-Juan de Fuca riding and taught courses at the University of Victoria's School of Child and Youth Care.

According to his UVic website biography, which has since been taken down, Walker said he holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, a master's degree in social work and two PhDs. It also lists him as a registered social worker, and indicates that he has worked as a paramedic, a child-protection investigator with Toronto police and Toronto's Children's Aid Society, a manager of public education for the B.C. Ambulance Service, an auditor and adviser for the Capital Health Region, and a policy adviser for the province.

The sign on his Health Point office indicates Walker has a master's degree in social work and a PhD, and is a registered clinical counsellor.

To the Saanich police, all those credentials didn't add up for someone of Walker's age.
Officers began investigating Walker in August after he reported to police that one of his clients, a six-year-old child, claimed he had been abused by his father. The child's mother had solicited Walker's counselling services privately, as part of a custody battle, said Saanich police spokeswoman Sgt. Julie Fast.

At the time, Walker presented himself to Saanich police as a doctor of forensic and behavioural sciences, and of medical epidemiology. As a result of the child's allegations and Walker's report and sworn affidavit, a restraining order was placed against the child's father.
Fast said police are reviewing the restraining order, but any decision to rescind or modify it would be up to the courts.

In connection with the child-custody issue, Walker is charged with defrauding a Greater Victoria woman of $120 on Aug. 12 and $150 on Aug. 17 by representing himself as a qualified doctor and rendering services while claiming to have two doctoral degrees. Walker is also charged with making a false affidavit on Aug. 26. He's alleged to have made a report when he was not specially permitted, authorized or required to make a statement under oath.

Finally, Walker is charged with knowingly using forged documents that indicated he held a doctorate in medical sciences from the University of Calgary, a doctorate in philosophy from Smith College and a diploma in human behavioural science from the Yale School of Medicine.
Asked if Walker was accused of representing himself as a medical doctor, or as someone with doctoral degrees, Fast said that's not the focus of the investigation. "It's simply the fact that he was representing himself as a doctor ... to people in the community."

Susan Prins, spokeswoman for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, said Walker was not registered with the organization.

Yesterday, Sharon Orr, office manager at Health Point Consulting Inc., said Walker was away on leave until after Jan. 22. She could not say whether he was still in the city.

"This has all been a big surprise to me," said Orr.

The clinic, which is owned by Walker, includes a group of health-related independent businesses that rent space from Walker and sometimes refer clients to one another. Orr said the other practitioners, including a chiropractor and an exercise therapist, are not Walker's business partners.

One of them, Tanis Danyluk, a reiki master and nutritionist, said she didn't know about the allegations and declined comment, calling Walker "a friend and colleague."

Yesterday, the lights were out in Walker's small but plush office, the walls bare where credentials had been removed by police. On a sideboard, a framed photo shows Walker with retired Lt.-Gen. Romeo Dallaire.

Walker was unavailable for comment. His lawyer, Jeff Green, said Walker won't "discuss this matter with anyone until we get more information." Green would not say how his client will plead.

Walker was released on condition that he appear in Victoria provincial court Jan. 21. He was ordered to remove all display notices, advertising or Internet sites that refer to him by the title of doctor or make any reference to him possessing a doctorate of any kind from any educational institution by Jan. 10.

Yesterday, his office window still displayed his name as Dr. Jason Walker, but the clinic's website had been taken down.

Texas mom 'groomed' Barrie teen

There are those who have said this is every adolescent boys dream. Its also a dream of many adolescent girls but remember this is an adult who lured a young teen who is highly susceptible and highly vulnerable to sexual manipulation. There ought not to be two different sets of rules for boys and girls. Sexual predation no matter what the gender is unacceptable in our society.  At least the Texas authorities followed up on it. I wonder where our Ontario Child Protection Agencies were throughout this.MJM

Kept up pressure before hotel tryst, police say

Published On Thu Jan 07 2010

A 42-year-old Houston mom relentlessly "groomed" a Barrie teen online before flying north and having sex with him at a hotel in Rosseau, Ont., U.S. authorities say.

Lauri Price, a mother of four, met the boy online playing "World of Warcraft" in September 2008 when he was 15, says the Harris County, Tex., district attorney's office.

After Price flew to Toronto, drove to his home but failed to lure him away last February, she kept up the pressure in a "long, long grooming process," said Lieut. Matthew Gray of a Houston-based Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Price allegedly came north again Dec. 29 and took him about 110 kilometres to the hotel. The two-day tryst ended when an off-duty police officer spotted them.

Price doesn't face charges here.

However, she was arrested when she returned to Texas.

She remains jailed there, charged with two counts of online solicitation of a minor and one count of enticing a child with the intent to commit a felony.

The teen's mother told The Canadian Press her son is heartbroken.

"(My son) believed he was in love, or believes he is in love," said the boy's mother.

"He's devastated. He really, really is. He feels responsible, even guilty."

The boy has been "assured by family and professionals that this is not his fault," she added. "This is someone much older than him, and it's an adult who has manipulated him into these feelings."

Price, a substitute teacher, was working on contract at a school but it has been cancelled because of her arrest.

Loss of passport over child support challenged

My comments left on the CBC thread:

There seems to be a great deal of misinformation on this thread. 90% of physical custody goes to moms in Canada 84% in the USA. Deadbeat moms proliferate but are never penalized for non-payment and they are proportionately greater deadbeats than dads. Moms frequently withhold access of children to dads  out of spite despite legal access agreements and are never punished. Between 10 and  30% of children dads pay support for are not their own. Mom had an affair and lied to dad about who the real father was.

This short article gives no insight into the overall situation and many are jumping to conclusions based on stereotypes.  Most dads who cannot or do not pay child support are unable to due to changes in income.  If you were a loving hard working parent and suddenly find you are going to lose your children (75% of Cdn. divorces are initiated by the wife and 90% get sole physical custody ) you would be abnormal if it did not have a large negative impact.

I hope this guy wins and brings some clarity to this massive government intrusion into the lives of Canadians.  The lawyer, Alexander Pless, is a typical media savvy enforcer of draconian laws playing to sympathies, not logic, by saying the child is in poverty. Both parents are obliged under the divorce act and morally to support their children.  He seems to want to leave the impression only dads have that responsibility.

I'd like more facts on the background to the case before passing judgment.MJM

Montrealer Francisco Caruso is contesting the loss of his passport over $80,000 in unpaid child support.Montrealer Francisco Caruso is contesting the loss of his passport over $80,000 in unpaid child support. (Tom Hanson/Canadian Press) A Montreal man is asking the Quebec Superior Court to strike down a federal law that can see parents who don’t pay child support lose their passports and other licences.

Francisco Caruso is arguing that his right to mobility — including the right to leave and enter Canada — is protected under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

The case began Tuesday at the Montreal courthouse.

Caruso said that after his divorce in 2001, he became depressed and lost his job at his father’s bakery. He has barely been able to make ends meet, he said.

But thanks to money from friends and some investors, he started a business importing exotic woods from Latin America, he said. Over a two-year period, Caruso made nine business trips.

But in 2003, he said, he was informed his passport would be suspended because he was late paying child support to his ex-wife and three children. The payments owing now amount to more than $80,000.

Alexander Pless, the lawyer for the federal government, argued that Caruso is the author of his own misfortune. If he had the money to travel to Latin America, he could also have arranged to provide financial support for his children, Pless said.

The law being challenged protects children, many of whom are among the poorest members of Canadian society, Pless said.

Abuse shelters: havens for feminist thought reform

There is a good reason why these shelters require non-disclosure agreements from clients.MJM

January 4, 2010

By Carey Roberts

Feminists will argue until they're blue in the face that women are victims of the Great Satanic Patriarchy. That tenet is laughable when one considers women are leading men on almost every indicator of social welfare.

But give them credit, feminists are a determined bunch. So in their crusade to spread the gospel of female victimization, they have established a network of domestic violence shelters around the nation. These programs resemble socialist thought reform experiments more than anything that can be considered to be professional counseling or crisis intervention.

To gain admittance to such facilities one must of course be female — after all, male victims of domestic violence are unlikely to benefit from a regimen of patriarchal deprogramming.

Second, the woman must make the ritualistic claim of being a victim to abuse. Any type of abuse will suffice: emotional, financial, or anything else that comes to mind. No police report, no medical record, no proof of any kind is required. "Always believe the victim," goes shelter managers' circular logic.

In his classical account of Chinese brainwashing, Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism, Robert Lifton recounts how newly-arrived inmates were assigned to a holding cell where they were subjected to ridicule, abuse, and physical hazing by the more veteran residents.

Such is the all-too-frequent experience of women in abuse shelters. One woman, Eileen Pope, spent months inside the YWCA Hope House in Charleston, W. Va. "I often felt unsafe. There were several physical and verbal altercations between the shelter residents. I had clothing stolen from me," she later related: http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/roberts/090824

Once they settle into shelter routines, the women come to realize they have become unwitting guinea pigs of an ideological bait-and-switch. At Bethany House in Fairfax, Va., employees would reportedly "infuriate the woman with propaganda." One client at a Massachusetts shelter found the real message was to "accept the indoctrination and embrace my victimhood."

The ladies, many of whom are poor, are ordered to attend classes featuring repetitive mantras like "domestic violence is all about power and control." The focus of these sessions is the Power and Control Wheel, a pedagogical device that recalls V.I. Lenin's famous dictum, "We must be engineers of the human soul."

Social isolation being requisite for proper consciousness-raising, the women must also agree to cut off communications with their abuser. Safehorizon in New York City goes one step further, requiring its residents to "sever relationships with family and friends," according to the organization's website.

Such policies call to mind Robert Lifton's account of the experience of one concentration camp survivor: "Our souls were entirely open. It was complete confidence. We could trust the government."

Ritual denunciations were an important feature of Chinese brainwashing camps, with inmates called upon to censure their fathers for horrendous yet vague crimes. Abuse shelters likewise demand their residents denounce patriarchy and its putative evils.

A quarter to one-half of women in abuse shelters are currently abusing alcohol or drugs: http://www.radarsvcs.org/docs/RADARreport-Are-Abuse-Shelters-Helping-True-Victims.pdf . But don't expect to find any substance abuse treatment programs on site. That would be much too bourgeoisie.

Shelter residents enjoy no right to privacy. I have heard from women about confidences shared with shelter workers that were later passed on to Child Protective Services and other shelter residents. One woman revealed, "Nothing was confidential and what I discussed with staff was being discussed with clients."

Complaints are verboten because they betray reactionary resistance. The miscreants may be summarily exited from the facility. At Womencare in Bellingham, Wash., a blind woman had who been forced to assume a new name to escape her abuser had her identity outed when she filed a complaint about lax safety procedures: http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/roberts/080715

Not surprisingly, shelter managers do everything in their power to keep law enforcement officers at bay. At Another Way in Lake City, Fla., a former employee wrote, "I, on numerous occasions reported illegal drug use that I had witnessed take place on Shelter property and often my complaints were ignored. We always knew not to call the law unless you were prepared to be unemployed."

Given these experiences, it's no surprise that women opt to return to their abuser rather than continue to subject themselves to this grandiose government-financed brainwashing experiment.
